You can find predefined transitions, titles and special effects on the file browser panel, on separate tabs and you can insert them into your project just by clicking and dragging. Besides importing media files from your local folders, you can also record your screen and your voice with the program's built-in recording functions.

A particular feature that gives MAGIX Video Pro an edge over other editors is the fact that a video's sound volume or brightness can be adjusted by clicking and dragging a line, directly in the timeline. You can also insert keyframes, which give you complete freedom to create fade and cross-fade effects however you want.

It is also worth mentioning that MAGIX Video Pro allows you to edit several movies in parallel, in the same timeline editor, on separate tabs. When your montage is complete, you can export it in one of many formats. Additionally, the program allows you to burn your video, convert it or upload it to YouTube or other services.
